Hawkman is a character from the DC comics universe. Originally born in ancient Egypt, he fell in love with a priestess; she was loved by another, however, and a fatal love triangle developed. Unable to conceded defeat, his rival murdered them both, and he and his love, Hawkgirl, are destined to be hunted throughout eternity by this evil man - being reborn and finding one another, only to be murdered again.
